Listings should help teams and families connect without exposing a child’s private information.

Photos

  • Use action photos with parent or guardian permission.
  • Avoid school names, home addresses, house numbers, license plates, and identifiable daily locations.
  • Crop out unrelated children when permission is uncertain.
  • Remember that hiding a player’s name does not hide their face.

Contact details

  • Use an adult’s email address and phone number.
  • Never publish a child’s personal email, phone number, home address, school, or daily schedule.
  • Keep initial communication inside the private request flow when possible.
  • Verify who you are communicating with before sharing additional details.

Meetings and tryouts

  • Use supervised, appropriate public facilities.
  • Have a parent or guardian present.
  • Independently verify coaches, organizations, costs, schedules, and policies.
  • Report suspicious, misleading, or unsafe listings immediately.
